The Flood - One Year On

June 25th 2008 and exactly 1 year ago we fell victim to the massive flooding that hit much of Yorkshire... the pictures tell their own story.

A lot has happened in the 12 months that has passed... the Directors hair has either gone greyer, or fallen out, or both (just look at the pictures on the About Us page !) but more importantly the company has changed.

We had to totally gut the entire showroom and start again. The result is now a stunning new selling environment designed to be bright , clean , spacious , innovative , provocative and above all a relaxing place for customers to make their tile choice assisted by friendly, helpful and well trained staff.

The post flood experience has been frustrating, enlightening, depressing, invigorating... in short everyone at the company has experienced a fine parabola of emotions as we have all strived to get the business back to normal.

Hopefully we have achieved that and improved many aspects at the same time . We appreciate the patience and understanding of all our customers throughout the last 12 months and the greatest compliment of all is many of you have stated you experienced no loss of service whatsoever.

So in an era of economic gloom and doom we are very upbeat and positive... the flood forced us to change things and the result is we are a vastly improved organisation ready willing and able to help you and satisfy your requirements for tiles and mosaics for whatever project you are working on be it for home or for business.
